Riverside has become a major fixture in Oxfordshire’s music calendar, with more than 30 acts playing across three stages. This is a free festival, run entirely by volunteers and community effort.
The site only opens to the public for approximately 10hrs each day, Saturday and Sunday. There is no campsite for customers, however, one of the perks of volunteering is that you are allowed to camp on site and will receive food and drinks provided by the festival. The majority of the volunteering roles will involve controlling access and monitoring crowd safety in the arena.

This unique festival requires a small team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who work together to support this free community event. Times of work will mainly be during the time the festival is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. Shifts will not be set prior to the event, these will be arranged once on site by the Wicked Events volunteer coordinator.
The Riverside Festival site is on the Mill Field, a lush green ‘island’ on the River Evenlode. Charlbury, Oxfordshire OX7 3QG. There is a small crew only camping area on site.
