Friday 2nd - Friday 9th August
Sidmouth is a festival like no other. Set in the lovely regency seaside town of Sidmouth, Devon, it is one the UK's premiere folk events of the year. With something for everyone, the town fills with performances across numerous venues, with street entertainment, processions, dance , workshops and lots lots more.
The festival has many established and experienced volunteer teams which each look after a small area or venue, helping bring the festival together as a whole. If you are a returning volunteer, you will already know the great fun and brilliant experience you gain by being part of these teams, working together to support the festival and enjoying the wonderful music, dance and song on offer. We are always looking for new volunteers to add to these existing teams.
*Excludes Ham evening concerts which can be purchased at a discounted rate from the Festival Box Office.
**Free bus pass for Bulverton venue, campsite and car park teams only.
You can combine making a positive contribution to the festival with trying out the many different events without having to buy a ticket. Volunteering also offers a great way to come to the festival on your own, and get to know people and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a really great event.
The festival is held across more than 30 venues in the picturesque seaside town of Sidmouth, Devon. Boasting hundreds of unique and diverse performances.
There is also the Bulverton festival campsite and late night venue just outside of town with a dedicated festival bus service which links to the town centre.
